Beanbags!

1) Cut your fabric to approximately 3"x4" pieces, sew them right sides together leaving about an inch and a half opening, and then turn them right side out.

2) Fill each bag with beans. I found that pinto beans seemed a little too large so I went with the trusty 'ol black beans. You can also use kernel corn.

3) Once they're stuffed, don't over fill or they have too much heft and not enough squish factor, just hand stitch the opening.

These are an incredibly versatile toy. We toss them in a basket, we walk around with them on our heads, we drop them in the basket from our heads, we hide them like Easter eggs, and we use them as seats and pillows for baby dolls. The play possibilities are as endless as your child's imagination.
